    Had Jessup out as part of some warranty work through our home builder. They were professional and showed care in making sure issues were fixed correctly. While we didn't have a choice in who did the warranty work, we lucked out with Jessup and would use them ourselves again. See more See less

    Hired Steve to install drywall on a 400sf addition. Gave Steve a call for a quote and he was very responsive. He came to check it out the next day. Had a quote in a day or two, and he and his crew started work less than a week from when I made the original call for the quote. Steve is a genuinely nice guy. He and his crew keep everything clean with drop cloths, etc., and they are respectful of homeowners. He does good work, does it promptly, and at a reasonable price. He is also a good communicator; he let me know via call or text each day when he or his crew planned to be onsite. I would recommend Steve to anyone looking for drywall work.     TOP NOTCH!!! That’s the easiest way to explain the experience we had with Steve Jessup!!! First of all, I had zero experience with what to expect as I had never needed this type of work done prior. Our basement suffered water damage, like so many others in the area, from the tropical storm that came thru in August...a mere 10 days AFTER we moved in to our new home. Reaching out to contractors and clean-up/restoration services is no enviable task, as so many are looking to get as much from you as possible. Unfortunately, this time my dealings with them was the worst it’s ever been! Most calls/visits start off real nice and caring-like, but as soon as they learn what your needs are, and the circumstances surrounding your predicament, the teeth come out. I even had a restoration company call the night before they were scheduled to start,in an attempt to find out if my insurance coma-any was involved, and if they could guarantee coverage. Further, they increased the price and tried to pressure me to sign a contract indicating that I would pay more than what was originally quoted. Drywall contractor came in and quoted very high, despite my not knowing what to expect, I did know that his price was way too high, especially when he listed the painting of my basement at $1800!! Basement?? 630 sq ft for $1800??!! PLUS, this guy wanted 75% of the job up front as a deposit!!! 👎🏽😡😡👊🏽👊🏽✌🏽Then I called Steve, who came in, polite, professional and personable...3 traits lost in this era of service-less customer service and relations. This alone was a huge, and probably the deciding factor in my decision to go with Jessup. After negative experiences with the realtor who rep’d us for buying and selling our properties, and with contractors and clean-up crews, I was certainly weary and leery of any contractor at this point, feeling as if I were under attack for my checkbook and expected to just “eat what was on the menu” if I wanted my finished basement and office back. Then, his quote easily bested the other contractor I had called!!! 👍🏽👍🏽👌🏾Steve worked with my schedule and started when he said he would be able to. Every person who worked with Steve entered my home with the same level of professionalism and concern for my property and environment, wearing masks and keeping social distance in mind. Upon completion, Steve made sure I was satisfied with the experience and remained true to the price I was quoted. AWESOME!!! I wish Steve did everything a homeowner would need to have done cuz I wouldn’t want to call anyone else. He even suggested that if I needed work done that he was unable to do, that he would refer someone reputable that could do it. If that time comes, and it likely will, I have the utmost confidence that whomever Steve recommends will be TOP NOTCH as well. If you have drywall needs, don’t waste your time looking around...just call STEVE JESSUP and prepare to have your space renewed to perfection with zero hassle, great quality work by a quality individual and company.     We had some issues with tape peeling in the corners of some of our rooms that we were unable to fix. Steve and Ray were great! They addressed our issues with the tape as well as some other areas that needed repairing and got our office and bathroom paint ready! I’m so happy to finally be able to use my home office. We will definitely use them again. Highly recommend! See more See less

    I had Steve perform the taping and spackling on drywall I had previously installed myself. Steve was timely, communicative and professional from start to finish. I called him and received a call back and a spot on his schedule for a quote within an hour of my inquiry. Received a quote the very next day after his visit, which was very competitive. After agreeing to the work, Steve was always timely, communicated when he would be arriving each day and left the work area as clean as possible at the end of the day. He finished a large basement, including ceilings within a week. Everything was well sanded and totally ready for paint after a quick wipe with a rag. Highly recommended to anyone looking for professional courteous work. See more See less
